As a Professional Chartered Accountant with a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Tax, Barbara acts as an advisor to owner-managed businesses and professionals. She maintains a high degree of expertise in various areas of taxation, including personal and corporate tax planning, corporate reorganizations, trust and estate planning and U.S. taxation issues. She also provides general accounting and business advisory services to her clients.

Barbara enjoys the challenge of complex tax structures and maintains knowledge of current developments.  She is often consulted by lawyers and other chartered professional accountants on difficult taxation issues.

Working closely with her clients, Barbara endeavours to fully understand their financial goals and objectives in order to implement the most effective tax and estate planning measures.  She recognizes that financial decisions must be addressed both in monetary as well as "life" terms, as these decisions have a direct impact on the overall quality of life.
